Bachelor of Christian Business Administration

Program Description

The Bachelor of Christian Business Administration is a 4-year program (120 credits) that prepares Christian ministers who are called to serve in Christian corporate organizations and Megachurches, for professional competence in a Christian community. The program also equips those called to serve in marketplace settings such as private and governmental institutions to instill divine principles in their professions. The program provides students with advanced competencies and Administration with management insights through the teaching and practice for those actively involved in Christian Administration and Management.

This program allows students to gain specialist knowledge in their areas of practice. Current specializations include: Marketplace Ministry, Christian Entrepreneurship and Christian Education.

Program Structure

The Bachelor of Christian Business Administration is delivered in four stages:

Foundation of faith: ten compulsory modules of 30 credits giving students the biblical foundation of faith (Students can exit with Graduate certificate)
Fundamental Courses: ten modules of 30 credits that discusses the integration of theology in business practices( Students can exit with an Associate Degree)
Specialization Courses: ten specialization modules aligned with the student’s mission, 30 Credits (Students can exit with Ordinary Degree) Current specializations include: Church planning, Christian Leadership, Christian Counselling, Christian Entrepreneurship and marketplace Ministry
Capstone projects: Ministry Internship and students project, preparing students for a start of their own ministry after graduation - 30 credits (Students are eligible to graduate with an Honor's Degree)

Expected Learning Outcomes

Upon the successful completion of the Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Business Administration, the students should be able to:

develop a Christian worldview in which attitudes and values are informed by Biblical standards
have influence, success and a powerful witness in the business world by applying Kingdom principles and
understand God’s plan for wealth transfer in the last days
understand that marketplace ministry is the passion that starts when God connects their career, business, ministry and life purpose into one package
have relevant knowledge, skills and tools to manage as Christians in a global economy
be prepared for advanced Christian leadership positions in large Christian organisations, Mega Churches, private and government institutions
acquire a portfolio of managerial and financial skills and competencies for large Church organizations
transform organizational culture and values, worldviews and mental models in a Biblical way and have sharpened skills in the theory, process, implementation and evaluation of strategic management
understand income statements and balance sheets, and manage the budget and the cash flow of large Christian organizations
understand the aims and functions of financial management, financial analysis, and the management of working capital.

Applicants for admission must have completed high school studies or equivalent from a from a recognised institution. The following documents must be submitted to the office of admission:
